" it's not the question of division, its the question of unity." are you trying to be confucius? "its a natural process for political parties to remain divided to some extent so that there will be no monopoly." Against monopoly is not the advantage here. Looking at girija becoming 6 time pm and constant 9 month government which one do you think it's better? Now they are uniting because election is coming then history will repeat again."chharo ta halnai paryo, haina?" Parties donot break due to lack of democracy or voices, they breakup because of greed, kursi, ego or self promotion not that it is natural. I understand your "extent" word but why take relief when it does no good to country. I favour stability over fear of monopoly at anytime in the government. "Even in most democratic nation i.e. USA, Democrats have divisions, Republicans have divisions. If they unite and agree on everything, there will be no such things called right and wrong." What you are talking about is independent nature of party people - not division. When was the last time when government could not finished its term due to division in US?. Both parties runs as independent voice. Look at voting in congress or senate, party line vote are almost nonexistence. They donot have to get ticket or blessing from netas. If they are electable, one has to say i'm democrat or republican (just becos of similar prospectives) and he/she is on the way. They agree or differ on party line only in major prospectives like abortion, gay right etc. but you can see a lots of the independent even on these hot issues. No republican has formed different party because they support gay rights or abortion. Common, you know better. So whether it is in nepal or us, these people who have differences need not have to break the party. If you're charismatic, likeable, brave , intelligent etc your voice will be heard eventually. But since you lack all these qualities, your self ego, greed kicks in and "kutta tanne" is the only option you will ever see. Progressive thinking is the only way to go. By the way, your reasoning seem to be of battered woman who tries hard to find the goodness in husband inorder not to leave. sorry hai
