Your writing is as good as before but the story did not really click. As other people have mentioned, this is not one of your best. The only thing that got me thinking about the last part was, what disorder did he have? I had already predicted that he had killed his father way before I actually read about it. I hate to be a critic, because I know nothing about plots and stories. Being a psych. major, it troubled me that without any interventions, the boy knew that he was not normal. People normally are shocked when they find out (through clinical interventions) that they have a psychological disorder. He seems to be autistic because of his distant behaviour and at the same time his slicing of the tennis balls and the murders he committed makes me think that it was not only autism, because they are not that aggressive. He might have Multiple personality/dissociative disorder, but if that was the case he would never be able to say that he was not normal. He might be a regular psychopath with no remorse or feelings, a total narcissist, but that quite did not satisfy me either. Oh well.... I guess I should stop brain storming!
