As to Liverpool spending tons of money, get a grip, their net spending is a lot less than Utd have spent on two unproven youngsters this summer…. Liverpool’s current most expensive player is Torres at £ 20 million…. Utd have Ferdinand, Rooney, Carrick, Nani, Hargreaves, Anderson, Ronaldo, Tevez(?) who all cost more than Liverpool’s second most expensive signing… Liverpool have had the players to win the premiership for a number of years.
