Well that's what the US government is trying to do. Recently they're covering more coverage of Olympics and spreading the word around. Just few years back, most of the Maerican didn't know where and when the Olympic was going on. Patriotism is there, of course, but for the wrong purposes (I think), for war. Tell am American that they need to defend their country, they'll do it for free by enlisting in the army.
