Passport scam in Nepal:- A special government inquiry in Nepal investigating alleged abuses of diplomatic privileges has said that thirteen members of parliament misused their diplomatic passports. A report by the inquiry committee said the MPs -- eleven from Nepal's recently dissolved lower house of parliament and two members of the upper house -- allowed other people to use their passports to travel abroad. Holders of diplomatic passports are entitled to special privileges around the world at airport customs and immigration control points. The committee chairman Sri Kant Regmi told the BBC that there was an organised gang behind the illegal use of diplomatic passports, and further investigations were required. .
