Slowersea, Indu Chemzong is the wife of General Chemzong (not sure if he's still in uniform or retired). She was the principal of Little Angles School before coming to the BSAM. Both the BSAM websites--the Sallaghari Aliumni Association site and the BSAMV site--are miles away from completion. It would be wonderful for all of us, especially, the BSAMites if the sites are completed. BSAM was home to most of us for many years and to hear any thing wrong about the school, where we spent many wonderful years experiencing unique and different things, makes us feel sad. BSAM is indeed a great institution. It's one of the most successful fruit of Nepal Army's efforts. It is sad but from what I hear the school is not as what it used to be when we--from the earlier batches--were there. I am from the 3rd schoolong batch (SLC 1997) and when I was in class 4 (1990), the school was very, very strict and damn good. There were only three school batches back then and no coed. I still remember it was a heck of a tough time back then. But, gradually things changed, good teachers left the school, I guess many political factions entered the school--both the Army politics and the civilian corrupt politics---and things started degrading. What is needed for BSAM to be as good as it was in it's early days is a good leader and a cooperation from the Army side in the school because many times there were only clashes between the Academic and the Administration sides. Hope we find our old school as good as it was in the old days!!!!! It's very nice seeing all of you BSAMites here. Hope we continue meeting in threads like these and keep updating ourselves. I live in TX. If any BSAMites is here or is planning to come here, please e-mail me. Would love to see any Sainikian.
