You can not check the status of PERM. Only your designated lawyer/employer can check it. Unless they are reluctant in opening a sub-account for you. INS/CIS falls under Department of Homeland Security where as PERM is governed by Department of Labor. These are totally 2 different entities. Please don't confuse on these terms.
