Gitanjali, I came here with a set goal and leading Nepal was never ever one of them (not even leading my 'tol' or even my lil community samaj here)...hahaha Never ever thought I'd dwelve into matters pertaining to Nepalese politics, but here I am today (wiser than a decade ago), wanting to pull the commies away from the system that is ironically a Democracy. Since I (and many alike) came here with a vision and am still working towards it, moving back to Nepal for good would be a failure (in terms of achieving the goals set for myself). No doubt, I'd help my countrymen there a lil, but in terms of my life, it would always be something I would regret and see as a failure (as we're all individuals and we all have different wants). Mr. Mahabir Pun went back and did what he had to and maybe someone else here will go back and make us all proud. But to expect everyone to go back is irrational and illoigical in every term possible. Us humans have a responsibility onto ourselves (and our loved ones) first but to to force us into taking responsibility for the WHOLE nation is simply irrational and the traits of a true Communist. BTW, who should lead the Nepali Congress is something the netas should internally decide as us, the laypeeps of Nepal are ethnocentric to the highest degree. Seeing our own bahun/mahise/newar/matwali leaders is what a majority of us will intend on making a possibility. Also, since the netas work together, they'd know better who the better employee/candidate is (as long as there's no unfair favotirism/nepotism, etc). We can only hope that they do the right thing and not end up colluding to rape Nepal of the lil economic reserves she has.
