Guys, I have a masters degree in computer science from a US University, and my grades are decent. I have an experience in the Java/J2EE field for about 2-3 years ( US experience + Nepal), and I have a full time job at a reputed company now. I have a few questions to ask: 1. I don't want to be a academician or professor, but I am very interested in doing PHD in computer science. Is PHD in Computer Science worth it, provided that I don't want to be into teaching? 2. What are some of the top Universities which are easy to get access to , and which provides scholarships and assistantships? 3. What are the good areas in computer science for Masters? I dont want to be doing PHD in Algorithms or AI. I am more interested in Software Engg and Distributed Computting. Any Universities in those areas?
