hola, Nepal has tall man for that!! Mr.Rajan Adhikari~Rajan, 28, is said to be the tallest man in his country and is claimed to be the second tallest man in the world. FRIENDS are hard to come by for Rajan Adhikari. Even when he was a child, many other kids in his village in Nepal shied away from him. Some even teased him for being “different”. For, he was tall – very tall – compared to other children in Morong, a village in eastern Nepal. No problem: Rajan touching the ceiling with ease. On his right is Chitra. With them is Santosh Dahal. “I was already 5ft 2in (1.57m) when I was 10 years old and when I was 15, I reached 6ft (1.83m). The children used to tease me but it did not really bother me,” he said, adding that he was glad to have found Chitra Poudel, another 'special' person from his village. Chitra was stricken with polio when he was a child. Despite his physical condition, Chitra has never felt unsafe because his friend Rajan is always with him, and there was nothing safer than to have someone a whopping 2.21m (7' 3”) tall standing by his side, he said. Rajan, 28, is said to be the tallest man in his country and is claimed to be the second tallest man in the world. “We always help each other. At times, when I couldn’t walk, he would carry me, while I help him talk to people,” said Chitra, 24, who is fluent in Urdhu, Hindi, English and his mother tongue, Nepali. The two friends have embarked on a world tour to spread the message of love and world peace. They have also set up a foundation to help the needy, including orphans, disabled people and those suffering from AIDS. The first phase of the world tour covers India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. “We hope to spread the message of peace and love in a world suffering from violence, intolerance and hatred, and the message of humanitarianism and brotherhood all over the world. We plan to cover 125 countries in 10 years,” said Rajan, a father of two children. During their tour, Rajan and Chitra will also introduce their country's natural beauty, culture and people to the people they meet.
