US Prison's Cross Dresser Code
Both male and female visitors attending America's notorious prison the
Chicago Correctional Center have been banned from wearing sexy clothing
according to regulations posted on the jail's website.
"All persons wishing to visit inmates at this facility are required to
be properly dressed before being allowed entrance," the prison dress
code states, "Regardless of gender, visitors will not be admitted wearing
mini-skirts, halter/tank tops, revealing/transparent clothing."
Shorts and culottes are allowed but must be in good taste and
non-revealing in length," the prison adds, "Bicycle or spandex shorts are not
allowed. Shoes and bras must also be worn."
Skrufff man-in-New York was unimpressed, querying 'shoes and bras must
be worn? I look terrible in a bra and don't really go that way at all."
Fellow Skrufff New York contributor/ D-List founder Daniel Nardicio was
also surprised musing 'I wonder why they need this policy?'
"Are there that many skanky ass hos showing up to visit inmates who are
dressed like hookers? What effect is this having on the inmates?
Enough of an effect to actually create a policy? It sounds like typical
American sex panic to me. Let's ban anything that doesn't conform to what
WE want," he suggested.
Daniel's social profile was meanwhile boosted in New York this week
when the Village Voice ran a preview article recommending his upcoming
Pride party Evening Service, advising 'expect more temptation than even
Ted Haggard could handle'. The influential listings Bible also dubbed
Daniel 'New York's king of queer sleaze', a title he happily embraced
with a salacious aside about his prison interests.
"God, I wish I'd been in prison, though not here in the States but
somewhere like Poland," said Daniel. "Could you imagine being locked up in
prison with all that Polish meat? I know people say you shouldn't
fetishize prison and sex in prison, but I'd be the cellblock whore in a
polish prison," he laughed.
