NYC buildings use ice to keep cool

He he BC. Now that you brought up the straw and water coolers in India, they had one limitation: they worked only in dry heat. I wonder if the same is the case with the ice-based cooling system. I guess an AC cools by sucking out the humidity in the room which a water or ice based cooling system might not do. As for the Nader, yeah, I think he is one hell of a principled guy. I have a bit of a libertarian streak in me these days and also like Ron Paul in the Republican side. I personally believe that pragmatic politics is about making the best with what you have and I am okay, although not thrilled, with the current crop on both sides. In case you haven't caught up on it yet, I thought this guy was very creative with his question last night:
