As for the books I'd like to read the second book by Khaled Hosseini when I get a chance, but for now I got "Water" by Bapsi Sidhwa keeping me engaged..having watched the movie first,..umm..I think twice..takes away the element of surprise. Nonetheless reading the elegantly woven plots- the story in general still holds its charm..A friend of mine says its one of her favorite, hence had to read it for myself before I come to conclusion of any sort...:-) Sndy--How did you find the book? I loved his first one. It was so realistic in presentation and moving too. I'd also recommend "Kabul Beauty School" by Deborah Rodriguez also based set on Afghanisthan. Jack--Thanks for the pictures.
