Ok before you read let me clear one thing I am not “raja wadi” or connected to any political stream. I am just a Nepali who is worried about the current situation in Nepal. Regard the news about Gyanandra B’day celebration. As the news published in Kantipur, “Maoist-affiliate organizations including its youth wing Young Communist League (YCL) and student wings of other political parties today foiled the pro-palace rally which was set to begin from Ratnapark and reach the palace grounds whereupon the participants were supposed to felicitate the king on his birthday. Dozens of royalists were injured during clashed with YCL activists at various parts of the capital this afternoon. Two policemen were among the injured.” So my point is if there is democracy in Nepal why the supporters of Gayendra were injured by the YCL. In democracy certainly they also have their own rights. Don’t they? I, you might not like the king but some body might like him. So if they show their support and celebrate in a so called democratic country why these fighting’s occurs. I feel scared about the situation because it is not only about the king’s b’day celebration occasation. No body is safe in any matter even a general people is not free to say any thing he is worried he might be attacked by any group for saying that. So in this scenario is there any democracy in Nepal. Looking at this situation I remember one song long before by Ratan Sudedi : Nepali Congress For the India America Nepali Communist under China & Russia Prajantra Party Mandala ko Kaka Sadhbhavana Party Bihari Daka Janta ko sewa bhanda bada yaha ta dherai huncha bhasan Naya nishaf na paunu bhanda ta thikai thiyo bara “Rana Sasan”
