yah oys, i was not a big fan of his either. i think federer is more all-round player, anyday. however, the poetry as you pointed out, can have short verses if someone like sampras is playing against him, hoina? :). talking of favorites, i used to be a die-hard agassi fan. i knew his limitations but his style and attitude never ceases to amaze me. what a man! :D
