Termed as a diamond jubilee celebration by the royal palace, the party will start the gala festivities from Friday until Sunday. In the three days time, the Royal Palace has invited more than six thousand people and has plans to spend more than 50 million rupees, sources close to the royal palace reveal. The invited guests are the Prime Minister, Ministers in the Cabinet, Some Parliamentarians, High Ranking Government officials, King’s Well Wishers, Ex-Panchas, members of the former royal cabinet, royal family members, businessmen, representatives of various diplomatic corps, journalists and King Gyanendra’s teachers and others.
