I don't think you can get your medical examination done without telling them. To get the medical, they will first mail you the PART A of the whole package. The doctor will finish the rest of the papers and mail it to Ottawa. Since in your case, they (most probably) send only for your wife, I am not sure how would you get the medical done. The doctor will definately ask for the PART A with photo. In your case one way to do it is to have your wife's process finished and let her go to Canada. Then she files the papers for you from Canada. I was told, in Canada, one can bring their spouse in couple of months... Just a thought. I like the idea of BATUWA... having your wife write a letter... It might work. This means, it might delay your wifes process as well.
