Who has read Bhanubhakta??

I always felt awe at the fact that more has been done for Nepali language, and to some extent, Nepali culture, by people of Darjeeling than by people of Nepal, shining example of which is the reverence and relevance given to Bhanubhakta there even today. Mr. Onta's mentioning of one Newar gentleman in Kurseong (or Kharsang as we lovingly call it) having bought Bhanubhakta's Ramayan, while might not be of much significance, does represent the eagerness of Darjeelingeys' to foster, nurture and conserve Nepali literature, something that was criminally neglected in Nepal due to shah/rana oppression.
