I guess, the matter is not who makes more and who makes less. Who's in IT and engeneering and who's at a gastation and deshi restaurant. The idea that Brownsugar wanted to express is that we need to respect each other. He said khatayas to the dv winners who act snobby because they have green cards and act jerks to students living a miserable life. Or showoff to a h1b holder who despite of his hardwork for years and academic achivement lacks secure life in the usa just cuz he lack a green card. I think brownsugar wants to say that showoff is bad, acting arrogant is bad, which he gave enough hint by his " PS" note at the bottom of the original message. I personally and many students have come across several incidences where DV winner , specially older folks would act arrogant and try to look you down or manupulate even, if they find younge Nepalis in student visas.. it becomes a hot topic for them if some student is paying his school by working somewhere. they have a serious nose itch to find how he's making money and jelousy. they might think a student should rather live in the streets as a homeless and eat garbage , and leave the jobs for them. Most of them have come from a society where they have been manupulated for being poor and from villages for ages. They don't know how to act but act the same as their manupulators and act arrogant and nosy towards poor student who are already living a hellish life in the usa. No one should act arrogant, whether it is a student, DV winner.Whether you are a six figga nigga with the name jiggaa....or a dv winner working 9 to five , and five to nice , working two jobs just to survive.. live up your own life and quit being bitchy about others....
