I have applied for H1B through a consulting firm. My application is still under review by the immigration (USCIS). I am not very happy with this consulting firm, so I would like to tell them to cancel my H1B (before October 2007), before I start working for them. Will this put me out of status? I have never worked for them. Currently, I am on my OPT which is valid until June 2008. I am seeking employment in a non-profit company (which is exempt form the quota). Thank you for your help!
