hey Gltd, Thanks for the link. I was a bit sad to see that Maithili people from India seems to be more active than those from Nepal there. I always maintained that Nepal is true land (capital) of mithila, as Simraungadh is in Bara, which was the last capital of a free Mithila state. I had also proposed that Purbanchal University be renamed Mithila University and made a center of knowledge for Mithilanchal, but it was ignored (even Maithili leaders were not too keen, and it is too late now, since Limbu/Rai will not be amused if we do so now). Here is hoping that Nepali Maithili will be as good in any field as Indian Maithili people.
