BUt I have not seen ANA take part in any immigrant's who are trying to asimilate to fit in or stand out. I went to one ANA and it was a long long loooooong time ago. And from what i have seen and heard ....it has not changed one bit. Its a place where the have try to showcase their wealth. and the Have not try 'n droool over it. And then we got so called intellectual PUNDITS who come there to showcase their Phd and post Doc by INDULGING IN ASSTALK SEMINARS( with no results). I don't think ANA has done jack to assimilate Nepali folks. Sajha.com probably has provided more service to the community than ANA has ever done. I have received more help from sajha community than ANA could ever dream of. I don't have to pay, I don't have to wait, I don't need anyone's permission. I can front any question here and the community wil respond(sometimes good ..sometimes bad). So to say ANA has helped Nepali community in any way is full of BULLSHIT.
