I think the ANA and other Nepali and ethnic organizations will exist as long as there is an influx of Nepalese into the US. These organizations exist to fulfill a demand - namely that of people needing to reconnect with their roots in a foreign land. As for assimilation, organizations like the ANA and others are by nature (and perhaps also by a conscious choice) geared more towards multi-culturalism than assimilation. Just a thought.
