" You see i dont really get it. ok are you trying to tell us that that you initially applied to become F2 student while being a in status F1 student... And you got a RFE letter from USCIS asking for additional document and they gave you 30 days which you could not give them? If this is the case then you still have your F1 status. You are fine USCIS would send you a letter stating the deniel.. Or you could apply again.. I am not and expert in this issue but thats what i am assuming and stop worrying. There is someone by the name here, "santoshgiri" he is very educated in these matters.. May be he would write here something... but as far as your status is maintained you should be fine.. good luck
