Enigma, After going through your post , i think that the guy seems to have a good attitude. He is honest and tells everyone that he want to quit. Well, I dont know why he has gone through drugs for the second time. May be circumstances led him on that. But its hard to say how should the girl react. It depends on how much attachement they both have , how much they understand each other. If a guy loves the girl so much and want to get out of the addiction then the guy should definetly deserves a chance. There are so many cases where people after proper treatment gets out of drug addictions. I think girl should support the guy at this moment and help him in this situation. Some time change in environment can also change a person so the guy can also apply for study in US . To get the guy in dependent status wont be a good idea at this point cause then the girl has to get married. But i think both guy and a girl should take more time to understand each other. This is just my view. I may be wrong since i dont know the situation exactly. Just a thought..
