Nice article Haddock...Seems like you've been paying a lotta attention to the Indian growth scenario. BTW, this idea of decentralization is a risky financial move that could have huge payoff if successful. Wasn't Nepal trying the same thing with Biratnagar a decade or more ago?? I guess it didn't materialize as much as expected coz the rural folks still clamor to get into Ktm rather than B'Nagar (some may say its becasue of the security against the Maoists, I'd say that its because of failed planning insight).
