If you are paying 25% to your sponsor, then that means you are being hired by a contractor who contracts you to the real employer. This is a semi-legal (hopefully soon to be illegal) practice which exploits people looking for a sponsor. In fact, you will still probably be responsible for finding your own "real" employer. Anyway, if you are in Nepal, it is probably a lot easier for you to find this kind of job than actually getting the real employer to sponsor you. Is your "recruiter" telling you that you will easily find a job earning $100,000 per year? He is probably lying because he is going to make a lot of money from you even if you only make $30,000 per year. But to answer your questions, If you are making $75,000 but being taxed on $100,000 I would guess that you take home pay would be at least $3,000 per month (after taxes). Rent in San Francisco is the highest in the country so if you have a roommate you can still expect your living expenses (including food and utilities) to be at least $1000 per month. But you won't need a car in San Francisco. That will save you money. So if you live really cheap you could send home one or two thousand dollars a month. But coming to America changes you and it will be much harder to save that money than you think.
