This story reminds me of the 'kaam garne' that we had when I was young - about 13. The boy was only about 12. I feel very bad that I bullied him a lot. I didn't like my mother giving him attention or any favors for him. Society had cast him as a 'kaam garne'. Society had branded him as a lesser human being. When I was 13 yrs old, I didn't know any better. But now when I think about it, I feel bad and I respect my mom for trying to treat him like a family member which of course I didn't understand back then.
