Tenzing Norgay was born in Nepal and so was Udit Narayan. And they deserve every right and respect a Nepali citizen is bestowed with. What if tomorrow one of our Nepali bretheren abroad gets a major award or achievement (Nobel, etc.), won't we be proud that it's a Nepali who did it rather than his friggin host country? Look at the other thread on Kiran Chetry (and she didn't even live in Nepal for a llong period). And India laughin their azzez off?? Where da heck did you see this dream, psycho-coffee?? Tenzing Norgay in his autobiography says that he alwasy felt he belong to Nepal but he chose India because of the opportunities his children would receive in this newly independent nation. Nepal during those times was still opressing the matwalalis. Also, as per urban legend, he was offered huge incentives by the Indian govt. to move to India...If Nepal would've done the same, he would've remained in Nepal instead of Darjeeling. Both of them moved to India for economic causes and for us in the West passing any negative comment shows the utmost hypocrsy in one's character (aka BathroomCoffee, you sick pot-head).
