I don't know about that. The umpires were just doing their job. The problem is in the rule books and who wrote them and when was it written? If anything, the rules need to be revised and you can't revise the rules just because for a game. How hard is that to understand? As I was listening to the commentary in the last overs, I thought "Man, these are some whiny SOBs." The commentators were simply whining too much which made my experience simply painful, If only they would shut up and let the game take care of itself. The commentators clearly were disgruntled with ICC (maybe over poor match attendance) or maybe they didn't get the usual five-start treatment. Who knows? But I believe their comments were very unprofessional, trying to put the blame on ICC about everything that went wrong in the World Cup.
