I think there is too much of defeatist and apocalyptic thinking on Sajha when it comes to the Maoists. For god's sake, they are not invincible and the best - in fact the only practical way - to beat them is at the polls. I dont have a crystal ball to make predictions but I certainly think the political trend line at this moment does not point to a victory for the Maoists at the polls. That said, things change in politics pretty fast and the NC and UML should not take anything for granted. They can be beaten and I personally think they will be.
