Latest update: Lastest update: The organizers are still hopeful that Suresh Ale Magar (CPN-M) will be a panelist. However, since the US EMbassy in Kathmandu has delayed his visa process, they have had to temporarily suspend his participation at the event. The Nepali delegation to the UN convention on transitional justice includes few more prominent Nepali politicians, including but not limited to, Shekhar Koirala and Prakash Sharan Mahat. Asia Society is also looking forward to possibly including them, time allowing, in the panel. Also, since there is very limited time for a high number of panelists, I have been told that the event will be a direct, free-flowing discussion, rather than the usual presentations (by the panelists) followed by Q & A.
