yes - unless you have valid Schengen visa as well - you do need transit visa to Schipol Amsterdam. This is a fairly new requirement btw, upto mid of last year, you didn't need any visa. This came into force from 1st July 2006. Transit visas are fairly easy to obtain - just takes a few days. HTH Brat.
