was he demonstrating that aids cannot be contracted through kissing? :P while i don't understand the reason for the public protest, i believe that media-especially television- is quite responsible to stir agitation among indian public/viewers as they've been continually displaying the "kissing" scene from various angles, with pauses in-between, background music (pretty woman) and so on...hehe... well, looks like all they needed was some spicy news and they got it making mountain out of a molehill. :-)
