The news might have been senseless topics for many gossipers, but that ended up helpful for that relatively unknown African nation. Person like me who had no clue on Guinea-Bissau now know there is such a country. People also came to know about political, social, economical conditions of that country. Kiran Chetri might not have a celebrity stature of the size of Whoopi Goldberg, but one can feel her presence these days. She is attractive, and a likable host but with an unusual name. So the televisions viewers might be interested to know more about her. In the process, they will come to know about nepali people, Kathmandu and above all Nepal. Thanks to Kiran Chetri! From her side the best possible mark of respect for the Nepali community would be to make public her connection with Nepal, and she does that and it matters a lot for us at this moment.
