Well, I don't see any rationality in taking pride on Kiran Chetry being promoted to CNN anchor or whatever. I wouldn't consider her a true Nepali. Its a mere concidence that one of her parents happens to be Nepali but she hasn't done anything that it takes to be Nepali. Can anyone pinpoint her single contribution to Nepal or Nepali community. I guess it would be a fat NO. She might have achieved a lot in her career.....good for her but I won't take pride on that as a Nepali. Having Nepali name doesn't make someone a true Nepali, I believe.
