I know business people here who have been totally affected by the current scenario of Nepal. These importers of Nepali handicrafts and carpets have been burnt severly by the current Maoist shutdown of factories and cottage industries. People have the orders from their clients and designers here, but just cannot get the goods manufactured or even exported without a major hassle involved (An excuse has to be cooked up every other week for the delay in the goods' arrival). Can't these Maoist fools see that we are shooting at our own foot here? At this rate we will lose all credibility of our export based businesses and not one single foreign investor would want to buy or products or invest thanks to the lawlessness, political instability, inefficient production methods and dis-economies of scale (as the Nepali work week consists of some major strike every other day). Only God can save our foreign reserves now.
