I-130 Help!!

Ok, now i understand. Primary purpose of I-130 is to establish (or prove) your relation to USCIS that the relation really exists. You are talking about both GC and I-94 which is a bit contradictory. A person with green card shouldn't have I-94, unless you changed your status in the USA. But that I-94 is no longer required. So, It'd have been better if you had already submitted the required documents like 1. photocopy of your GC 2. marriage certificate (for spouse), birth certificate clarifying that you are the child's natural parent (for child) 3. photograph 4. and G-325A for both of you and if it were for your child, you should have submitted birth certificate clarifying that you are the child's natural parent. These are the only two relations for which a GC holder can file. If you have filed for somebody else, then I think that was waste of time and money. If you didn't submit those documents, probably USCIS will ask for them. It will just delay the process (which is already a long one). I Hope this helped
