I had watched about the life of Mrinendra Rijal in the program named something like "Ek din" in Nepal1 TV. He actually studied science in Ascol, and came from a reputed family. He got arrested during demonstrations and fightings from Ascol. I think that he started studying hard only later, and in fact he even was restricted from Ascol. So, he changed the track and joined management instead. He topped the university, and came to USA. He also swept away all 'A's and I remember him saying happily about his name being printed in wallstreet journal at that time. Then, he got a chance to do ph.d. and then an offer for assistant professor. Only during deuba's visit while being PM, he requested him to come back, and made his advisor (PM's advisor). So Deuba contributed for his return. He besides working as a politician, also teaches and owns Ace institute of Management, and his wife also teaches there. He actually logs onto msn messenger as I saw in that documentary. The documentary was good, and it gave me a good impression of him. Just one thing, I didn't like about was the boasting of his salary at US. I know that is the truth. But there'll always be criticism. Anyway, it's good that he's contributing to nepalese society now.
