My brother's employer had filed for and secured labor certaification some time in December '06. He filed his i-485 and i-140 concurrently through his employer's attorney on the last days of Jan, '07. He got fingerprinting dates for mid-Feb, but he was out of country at that time. His wife requested for rescheduling and got it for March 22. My bro is on H1B. Saan dai, my bro says he didn't need to file tax papers, even for 2006. He turned in everything his lawyer asked, including medical reports and birth certificates. Will the USCIS ask for it later or just send him the green card once the case is approved? What else have you heard about such cases?
