Its a coalition government, situation is something different. There is no single cabinet minister from far-western region of Nepal. Its reflects the actual image of centrist parties of Nepal. Even for the development, there should be representation from each region. All the parties fail to do so. Its not only in power sharing but also in various sectors, far-western region is neglected. You can go through statistics at NPC. For some districts of Nepal, there is a budget for contruction of link roads, while constructiion of major highway in this region is not in the priority list of government plan. This is just an example, there are others also. For the democratic commitment, this region is playing a significant role. During the first election after the 1990's movement, there were 18 members of parliament elected from Nepali Congress. During the second election, there were 14 (not sure about number) members of parliament, who were elected from UML. Even now, maoist's major infantry is from Kailali district. So, you can test the democratic commitment of the people.
