First same sex marriage in Nepal.... For the first time in Nepal two males Diya Kashyap (21) and Anil Mahaju (31) have tied the knot in a ceremony witnessed by the media, community activists and a few family members. To the accompaniment of Nepali popular music, and in the presence of beautiful Metis (cross-dressed males) and young gay men, cheerful women and children and the curious yet stunned media, Diya as a bride and Anil as a groom exchanged rings and garlands and then kissed.
