When was the last time that England won a major trophy? Gazza, I've followed Rooney ever since he played for everton. Have you seriously thought that he's out of form? Do you even know what you're talking about? Look at his career stats. Look at his immaturity. He's a good player, nowhere near the best. Look at his scoring records, it's pathetic indeed. Don't try to quote "form..." that you generally associate with cricketers. Rooney has never been an out and out striker in his entire career. You're NEVER gonna see him scoring 25 goals a season, got that? NEVER. Ever seriously thought who's gonna give a shit about him if he were to be kicked out of United's starting XI? Ever thought abt the fact that the only reason why he starts for United even when he doesn't score quite often is because of him being an Englishman?!?!?! Ever thought why HEnry scoring 40 odd goals in Arsenal's colors is always underlooked? The truth is, English game is dominated by the fan base. The speed of the game, the electrifying atmosphere and the money spent to sign BIG names are the reasons why English PRemier league/English team is overhyped.
