I have been receiving emails from some Nepali website operators about this "Right to vote petition" thingie... clicked on the link... and it says:- We, the Undersigned, endorse the following petition: NEPALIS ABROAD DEMAND THE RIGHT TO VOTE Target: Girija Prasad Koirala, Prime Minister, Nepal Sponsor: Advocate Dinesh Tripathi (U.S. city of Baltimore) We, the undersigned, representing the Nepali diaspora worldwide, claim our right to vote in the Constituent Assembly elections in June. This will be a crucial moment in our history. The elected assembly will write a new permanent Constitution, as well as decide the fate of the monarchy, define the structure of the government and guarantee the rights of the people, including the Dalits, Madhesis, and indigenous and marginalized people. नेपाली हरुको काम नभाको हो कि के हो? भोट नै गर्ने भए नेपाल गए भै हाल्यो हैन? हैन अब बाहिर बसेर भोट दिने मन छ, र माग पनि त्यै छ भने, यो petition गर्नु भन्दा, त्यो किसीमको भोट नेपालमा कसरी हुन सक्छ, pheasable छ कि छैन, छ भने कसरी छ र छैन भने कसरी हुन सक्छ भन्ने कुरामा बिचार गरे राम्रो हुने थियो की? त्यतिकै एउटा free petition गरने website पायो भन्दैमा जे पायो त्यै माग राखेर भएन, र माग जयेज हो भने, कसरी गर्ने भन्ने सुझाब पनि चाहियो! तपाईहरुको के बिचार छ कुन्नी!!
