Maoists will ban everything other than maoism if they have their way. Finishing off opposition is alwyas goal of communists because communists are not confident about fair competetion with other political parties or ideologies. They strongly believe that only way people are going to follow communism is by forcing it... they have already given up hope on convincing people.
