I don't see any point opposing the upcoming beauty contest. The organizers as well as contestants are interested on it, then what is the problem to others. I understand that any public event in a open society affects the people who are outside the event. And, these types of programs have their own pros and cons, so I think no one can convince the mass that such events are absolutely bad or good for society at large. Lets not waste time protesting such events for the sake of 'protest'. Instead, I was wondering, why nobody is seeking the role of Civil Society in protest of the 'court corruption' and the 'recent wave of violence if Madesh'.
