Ashu, Thanks for the link and yes I did reread it. I agree with your assessment and you have done a terrific job analysing the behind the scenes inner workings of such Bazaar. I do not need to be a Leftist or communist to see beauty contests as the subject of debate and discussion.Nor someone has to be labelled as an agent of capitalist multi nationals. Any topic deserves to be discussed and scrutinised from whatever perspectives one likes to do. We all profess to be balanced on our comprehension of any issues,name it..for the debates themselves are caused by one's willingness and interests to debate. And interest comes from within yourself that already has a foundation laid out on the matrix of perceptions of the issues. For me, I am against beauty contests for the reasons I deem right and just,not the reasons the Left and Multinationals see wrong vs. right.
