Greetings my fellow Nautankis, Sajhaites and any one else reading! Have been terribly busy and I have some news to share. My company just acquired a competitor - a big time strategic acquisition that is likely to position us as the preeminent player in our space. I am part of a large team involved with managing one - nonetheless significant - aspect of the merger. My boss has told me to get ready for some travel and I expect I will not be able to check in with all you wonderful people as often as I would like. This is a great opportunity for me career wise - it would prolly be accurate to call it the biggest undertaking of my career so far. Many of the people I work with would have killed to get involved with something like this. This is an exciting opportunity but at the same time places tremendous responsibilities on my shoulders and could very well spell the end of my active life on Sajha. I will try to check in whenever I can because I know I will miss so many of you folks. My email address is always available via Sajha if anyone needs it. I have always wanted to leave quietly but because of all the good friends I have made here I feel compelled to disclose this. It would be wrong to leave without saying goodbye. That is the least I can do for the wonderful moments you have shared with me. Best wishes to each one of you on this thread. Not to mention the other folks on Sajha who have not participated on this thread or dropped in recently or on a few occasions (Gundruk ko jhol, shirish, Aznsahwty, Audrey, Sandhurst, Bathroom Coffee - I am going to stop there otherwise I could be here all evening ... ) If I have rubbed anyone the wrong way, I hope you will find it in you to forgive and forget.
