Reading a newsweek what I found recently was that how the docors make mistakes in making diagnosis despite of advanced technology available in USA. Sometimes doctors make decision based on their experience, their thinking pattern or based on the previous case, they have seen on that day and they might overlook the crucial evidence of progression of disease. It was given the example of little girl, who was eight years old. The little girl was complaining about the headach and their parents took the girl to the doctor. During hostory taking process, docor found out that both the parents of the girl, were career oriented and the doctors simply told that the cause of the headach was the tension at home and the tension of study in class. But, the headache continued months after months. Later, after six months what they found that the girl was suffering from brain tumor. When the doctors went back and checked the EKG, they figured that the shadow of tumor was overlooked on the first EKG, which was taken at the first visit.
