I had posted some of parts of this before, long time ago; and in between time I stopped because I had no time! Now I am rewriting it again with some change here and there and I will make sure to end it this time! So thats why the the line!!..:) Now I hope everything is crystal clear!!..:D One for today!!..:) *************************************** They sat in the café. Hot fresh brewed black coffee was steaming and sweet smell rising through the air. Silence persisted; and both didn’t say a word. “Kati bajyo?” She asked the time. “2: 32” “Damn! I have presentation at 3!” She searched through her backpack. And she could not find her diskette. She picked everything out of her bag: her little purse, her favorite notebook, her little brush, some chocolate wraps, a novel and some chocolates. Red faced, red eyed she looked toward him. “Lyayena?” He already knew she hadn’t bought something. “It’s not there!” Red eyes became redder. He stood up. “Lets go.” That was all needed. They ran toward college. He got his bike out and they rushed toward her home. When they were back, they were just in time. The presentation was good and her face smiled again; He smiled along with her. “Ma’m, they are waiting for you!” She was zapped back to reality: there was no one to be with her again. She gathered her files and laptop; and the never ending day was on the way. She came back to her desk again. She remembered his number by heart; only number she remembered. She wondered if it is the same number again or has it changed. The phone was right there, she pulled phone toward her. She dialed the number: the phone began ringing at another end. She put the phone down; she was confused as never before. She stood over and looked outside her window. In the distance she could see could see the sky extending its limit and it ended at the horizon; was it the end of sky she was seeing or it didn’t ended there!! She sat there and saw a football ground in a distance ; thoughts drifting to the past. They were sitting on the side bar in front of football ground that day. Group of friends enjoying the game of inter college tournament and enjoying the regular chit chats. "Oyee tero k garne bichaar chha yaar yehan sakechhi!!!" He was asking Suresh. "Khoi yaar maybe jagir khojchhu!!!” "Malai ta tension bhaisakyo yaar..senior dai haaru halleko dekhera!!!.." Someone else added. "Khoi yaar..pahila pass nai garaun na!!!" He had said. "Yeuta kura bhan na, yeah sakechhi maybe we will be out of touch hola hai!!" Suresh added. "Hya, saathi ni chhutchha ra!!" She had retaliated... “Khoi tara pacchi office bhayechhi thaha hunchha...aani barsau paachi bhet hunchha ekchhoti aani visiting card adan pradan hunchha...ghaar pugechhi chhora lai diyinchha tyo visiting card aani chhora le k bhanchha tha chah tmiharulai...."25!!!!"..." Aakash had cracked the joke that day. A roar of laughter floated through the air. The thoughts came back to present. She counted the number of friends from college years she was regularly in touch with; there were none, some of them, she had not even talked rather seen in ages. The talks were reality now, a bitter truth. *************************************** To be continued! Have a nice day ya all!!..:)
